Privacy

When you rent REGULARS, we store:

• the email address you entered at checkout
• a Stripe reference for the payment
• the private access token that forms your watch link
• when you bought it and when your access expires
• how many times your watch link has been opened — a count only, with no record of when or from where

That's it. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no profile building.

Your card number, expiry, and security code go directly to Stripe and never reach this site or our database. We also don't collect your billing address, your name, or your date of birth.

This site sets no cookies of its own, and carries no advertising or social tracking pixels.

The film plays in an embedded Vimeo player, which we load with Vimeo's Do Not Track setting switched on so it doesn't profile viewers. Vimeo may still set what it needs for playback to function.

To deliver what you paid for: sending your watch link, checking that a link is valid when it's opened, letting you resend it to yourself if it goes missing, and spotting links being shared far beyond one household.

We don't sell your data, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. We won't email you about anything other than your rental unless you ask us to.

A handful of services make the rental work. Each sees only what it needs to:

• Stripe — Takes the payment and collects your email at checkout.
• Resend — Sends the email containing your watch link.
• Vimeo — Streams the film in the player. Loaded with Do Not Track enabled.
• Neon — Hosts the database holding purchase records.
• Vercel — Hosts and serves this website.

Your watch link stops working when your 30 days window ends. We keep the underlying purchase record longer, because tax and accounting rules require us to be able to show what was sold and to whom.

Stripe keeps its own records of the payment under its own retention rules, independently of us.

Email regularsfilm@gmail.com from the address you bought with and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.

Deleting your record also destroys your watch link, so if your rental is still running, say so and we'll wait until it expires unless you'd rather we didn't.

Depending on where you live — California, the UK and the EU among others — you may have additional statutory rights. We'll honor them; just ask.

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has bought a rental, email us and we'll remove the record and refund it.

If this policy changes materially we'll update the effective date at the top. Buyers with an active rental will be emailed if a change affects them.
